Sparkling Grape Jellies

To celebrate the launch of Panado’s new Grape flavour, we whip up this quick grape-inspired treat!

Ingredients:

  • For jellies:
  • 2 tbsp gelatine
  • ¼ castor sugar
  • 750ml sparkling grape juice
  • For sugar-coated grapes:
  • 1 egg white
  • 200g red grapes
  • ½ cup castor sugar

How To Make Sparkling Grape Jellies

  1. Put the gelatine in a small bowl, add 2 tablespoons and set aside to bloom.
  2. Combine ½ cup boiling water and castor sugar in a microwave safe jug. Add the gelatine to the jug and stir.
  3. Microwave the mixture in 20 second intervals until gelatine is completely dissolved.
  4. Pour mixture into a large bowl and cool. Once cold, add the sparkling grape juice and stir. Skim any froth.
  5. Pour the mixture into 6 silicone moulds or ramekins. Place in the fridge to set for 3 hours or longer.
  6. Whisk the egg white and brush onto grapes.
  7. Sprinkle grapes with sugar.
  8. Transfer to a large plate lined with baking paper and set aside to dry.
  9. Serve the jellies topped with sugar coated grapes.
