Air-Fried Chicken Schnitzel with Creamy Pepper Mushroom Sauce and Mash

  • 4 Fillets Woolies chicken schnitzel
  • For the mushroom sauce:
  • 3T olive oil or canola oil
  • 250g chopped brown mushrooms
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 sachet chicken stock concentrate
  • 800g creamy potato mash

How To Make Chicken Schnitzel and Sauce

  1. Place the schnitzels in the air fryer to cook for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil over a medium heat before adding the mushrooms, let the mushrooms brown before seasoning with salt and a generous amount of freshly ground black pepper.
  3. Add the cream and the chicken stock concentrate and cook until the cream thickens slightly.
  4. Heat the mashed potatoes then add to serving plates.
  5. Add the cooked schnitzels and finish with a generous amount of the mushroom sauce.
