Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 2 slices of bread of your choosing
- 30 g of butter
- 100 g of streaky bacon
- To serve with chives, spring onion or rocket.
How To Make Air Fryer Breakfast
- Bacon: Lay bacon in a single layer on the square 16cm Hillhouse liner and place in the air fryer.
Cook the bacon at 200C for 6-10 minutes depending on the level of crispiness you’re aiming to achieve.
Once cooked, take out the square liner with the bacon and place the bacon on a plate with paper towel. - Toast: Place the Hillhouse wire toast rack securely in the air fryer. Butter one side of each of pieces of bread you want to toast and place them in the rack.
Cook the bread at 180C for 2-4 minutes depending on how golden brown you want it to be.
Once cooked, take out the wire rack and place on the counter for the toast to cool. - Eggs: Each pour enough boiling water into two 250ml (1 cup) ovenproof ramekins (or dishes) until the water reaches halfway up the sides.
Using 2 eggs, crack one egg into each Hillhouse silicone cupcake case and place in the water in the ramekins.
Place in the air fryer basket and cook at 200C for 6 minutes for soft centres.
Open the air fryer basket and stand ramekins in the air fryer basket for 1 minute to finish cooking and cool slightly.
Use an oven mitt or a tea towel when removing the ramekins from the air fryer basket. - To assemble: Plate up the toast and slide each egg out of the silicone cupcake cases on each piece of toast and arrange the pieces of next to or around the eggs and toast. Season with salt and pepper and small slices of chives, spring onion or rocket.
