All Gold Jam Straws

Nothing makes a meal come together like just the right seasoning but what if you could elevate and get the most out of your meal by adding a twist using your everyday kitchen staples?

400g puff pastry, thawed
3-4 Tbsp Black Cat Smooth Peanut Butter – No Salt No Sugar added
¼ Cup All Gold Strawberry jam
½ Cup grated mature cheddar
¼ Cup All Gold Smooth Apricot Jam


Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Roll out the pastry onto a floured surface and then cut the pastry in half.
Spread some peanut butter onto the one half of the pastry and then spread some strawberry jam on top of the peanut butter.
Spread some apricot jam onto the remaining pastry and then evenly sprinkle over some cheese. Press the cheese down slightly to secure in into the pastry.
Slice each pastry half into 1 cm strips and then twist them before placing onto a baking tray.
Place them into the oven to bake for 15-20 minutes until the pastry has cooked through and turned golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.

Chefs Tip:Add some chocolate chips to the Peanut Butter & Jam Straws and some sesame seeds to the Cheese & Jam Straws to add an even extra twist

• If you have a pizza wheel cutter, use it to cut the pastry into strips

• These straws are great fillers for lunch boxes
