How To Make Baked Coffee Donuts
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a donut pan with cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt.
- In a separate bowl combine the prepared Jacobs Cadbury Caramel Mocha, egg, milk, melted butter and vanilla essence.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined, be careful not to overmix the batter.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each one halfway, then place into the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until the donuts spring back when lightly pressed.
- Remove the donuts from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Meanwhile start preparing the glaze by whisking together icing sugar, brewed coffee and vanilla essence until smooth.
- Once the donuts are completely cool, dip the tops of each donut into the glaze and allow the excess glaze to drip off.
- Place onto your serving platter and sprinkle over toppings of your choice.
The baked coffee doughnuts looked very delicious. I ‘m going to try it.
