Boerewors Bread "Taco" We all love a good taco, but we’re giving it a proudly South African twist! Ingredients:8x slices SASKO – Bettererest Premium White bread1 coil boerewors, casing removed1 Tbs olive oil2 heads cos lettuce, shredded250ml sour creamFor the tomato salsa:4 ripe tomatoes, diced2 spring onions, chopped2 avocados, diced20g fresh coriander, chopped Juice of 1/2 lemonOlive oilSalt and pepper to taste How To Make Boerewors Bread “Taco”Mix together all the ingredients and season to tasteUse a rolling pin to roll out each slice of bread thinly, then cut into a round. Press a thin layer of the boerewors into the bread rounds.Heat olive oil in a pan, then add the bread rounds, boerewors side down, and fry overmedium heat until the meat is cooked through.Flip over in the pan, then add a dollop of sour cream, top with lettuce and salsa.Fold in half and serve immediately.
