
Bolognese Style Mince 2 Ways
Meal-prep and leftovers are perfect with these bolognese-style mince recipes!

Ingredients:
- For the Bolognese:
- 3-4 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves, finely diced
- 500g mince
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 ½ cup beef stock
- For the sandwich:
- 4 tbsp garlic butter
- 4 slices of sourdough/ ciabatta
- 1 cup Bolognese
- ¼ cup grated parmesan
- 8 slices of mozzarella
- 8 slices of gouda cheese
How To Make Bolognese Grilled Cheese Sandwich
- Heat the oil in a pot then add the onions and garlic.
- Saute until translucent, then add mince and tomato paste and cook until browned.
- Add the can of tomatoes, sugar and beef stock. Lower the heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes Season to taste.
- Assemble the sandwich: Butter one side of each slice of bread
- Heat a nonstick grill pan over medium low heat.
- Place one slice of bread into the pan buttered side down.
- Place 2 slices of cheese on the bread. Add the Bolognese on top of the cheese.
- Place 2 more slices on the Bolognese.
- Top with the other slice of bread and grill on both sides until golden.
- Cover with a lid if needed to melt the cheese.
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 300g Zucchini noodles
- 2 garlic cloves, minces
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2-3 cups ready-made Bolognese
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- Handful fresh coriander, roughly chopped
How To Make Mexican Inspired Zucchini Bolognese
- Heat the oil in a large sauce saucepan.
- Add the noodles, garlic and spices and toss for 1 minute.
- Add the Bolognese and cook for further 1-2 minutes
- Fold in the sour cream and combine thoroughly.
- Top with cheese and fresh coriander.
- Serve immediately.
