Breakfast Parfaits

A yummy twist to a yummy breakfast!

Serves: 4
Prep Time: 15 min
Cooking Time: 10 minutes (for berry compote)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Nature’s Source Granola (any flavour you prefer)
  • 1 cup plain double cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for sweetening the yogurt)
  • ½ cup mixed berry compote
  • ½ cup chilled chia pudding
  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate shavings (optional for topping)
  • Fresh berries and mint, for garnish

How To Make Breakfast Parfaits

  1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt with vanilla extract and a touch of honey if desired.
  2. Start with a spoonful of Bokomo Nature’s Source Granola at the bottom of your glass or jar.
  3. Add a layer of the vanilla yogurt, then a layer of chia pudding, followed by a spoonful of the berry compote.
  4. Repeat the layers, finishing with Bokomo Nature’s Source Granola on top.
  5. Garnish with fresh berries, dark chocolate shavings, and a mint leaf for a fresh finish.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon (optional)

How To Make Chia Pudding

  1. Mix and refrigerate overnight or at least 2 hours until thickened.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

How To Make Berry Compote

  1. Heat berries in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add honey and lemon juice.
  3. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Let it cool completely.
