How To Make Sweet n Spicy Sesame Chicken
- Start by seasoning the chicken cubes with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if you’re using it.
- Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat, then add the chicken and fry until golden brown and fully cooked through, which should take about 6 to 8 minutes.
- Once the chicken is cooked, lower the heat to medium and stir in the golden syrup, Mrs. Ball’s chutney, and jalapeño chutney.
- Let the sauce bubble gently for 2 to 3 minutes, allowing it to thicken and coat the chicken with a sticky, flavourful glaze.
- Add the sesame seeds, stir to combine, and cook for another minute to bring everything together.
- Serve hot, optionally garnished with chopped spring onion or fresh coriander, and enjoy over rice or noodles.
