Caprese Gnocchi Salad & Affogato

Enjoy an Italian feast with WOOLWORTHS!

Ingredients:

  • Salted butter
  • Woolworths Gnocchi Italian Potato Dumplings 400g
  • Woolworths Fresh Basil Pesto 125g
  • TT Salt and pepper
  • Woolworths Sundried tomato quarters 240g
  • Pearl Mozzarella 150g, as needed
    Grana Padano Cheese 200g, shaved over the gnocchi

How To Make Caprese Gnocchi Salad

  1. Heat a knob of butter in a pan.
  2. Add the gnocchi into the butter. Fry for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the pesto sauce, making sure it is heated all through. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Decant into a serving bowl.
  5. Tear sundried tomato quarters over the gnocchi.
  6. Top with pearl mozzarella and parmesan shavings.
  7. Finish off with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and fresh basil leaves.
  8. Buon appetito!

  • Woolworths Dark chocolate brownie bites

How To Make Affogato

  1. Place 2 scoops of ice cream in a glass, topped off with a shot of espresso and crumbled brownie bites. Quickest dessert ever, for an Italian end to the night!
