Carissa Cupido is a NAFTA nominated media personality on TV and Radio.

She is the newest edition to the national breakfast TV show on S3, Expresso Morning Show. But she is no stranger to the screen, having won TLC next great presenter search in 2016.

She spent 4 years in Joburg, where she hosted YFM’s Run This Town, and has since returned to Cape Town to join the Good Hope FM weekend line up. She is also the official female voice of the station’s imaging for which Good Hope FM has been nominated for a Radio Award (2023).
Between 2018-20, Cupido voiced TLC across the African continent. She has graced stages as host including the 2016 J&B Met; Afropunk Jhb 2018; Clicks Beauty Playground with NIVEA; Kaytranada Timeless Tour and many more.

This multi-talented media maven has made appearances on The Insider SA; MTV Base; and Trace South Africa covering local events relevant to The Culture. She was the voice over artist for the first season of The Taste Master Junior in 2024. She has MC’d many branded events including the likes of ARC, Crocs, DJI, Camille Rose, Strictly Soul, The Fix, SABC Corporate to name a few. Throughout this time Cupido has worked at creating digital content across her social media platforms amassing over 20k followers across Instagram, X and Tik Tok.

Collaborations include brands like Canal Walk, Crocs, Alvi’s Drift, Adidas, Aperol Spritz, NIVEA, Weetbix to name a few. She was also recently flown out to London to cover the WICKED premiere.
