Carl Wastie’s Expresso journey started by chance in 2009 when the Breakfast show he was on broadcasted live concurrently with the show from 6 to 9am.

From there he became part of the family doing inserts like Couch Potato before creating a Youth insert on the show called Expresso AMPD. After being a stand-in for a few years, he is now a fully-fledged part of the Presenter team adding his Mohawk and energy to your Feel Good Breakfast Show. While still doing radio in the Afternoon from 3 to 7pm, Carl is also an accomplished corporate and event MC as well as a Freelance Creative, specializing in Concept creation and copywriting. When he is not working, Carl is an amateur chef, braai master, a Footballer, Fifa player and a family man who is a self-proclaimed Board game aficionado.
