How To Make Chamomile and Honey Spiced Tea

  1. Place water into a saucepan and allow it to come to a boil.
  2. Once the water starts boiling, reduce the heat and add in
chamomile tea bags, cinnamon quills and star anise into the saucepan allow this to steep for about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Pour into mugs, add honey and lemon juice to taste, and serve immediately.

Chefs Tip: You can also make this iced tea on warmer days, simply just, allow it to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it for at least 20 minutes to chill. Pour the chilled tea over a glass filled with ice cubes. Add a thin slice of lemon directly into the tea while it’s steeping, or for a more subtle hint, squeeze the lemon juice directly into your mug right before serving. Make a larger batch of the tea ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 2 days. This makes it easy to have a soothing cup of tea on hand when you need it.
