Cheesecake Red Velvet Brownies
The best of both worlds come together for this indulgent treat!

Ingredients:
- Brownie layer:
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- 175g granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tbsp red food coloring
- 2/3 cup flour
- Cream cheese layer:
- 250g cream cheese
- 50g granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
How To Make Cheesecake Red Velvet Brownies
- Preheat the oven to 180C and line a square pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the butter, cocoa powder and salt. Whisk to combine.
- Add the sugar, eggs, vanilla, vinegar and whisk until combined.
- Add the food coloring, until desired color is reached.
- Add flour and fold in gently. Pour the batter into the baking tin leaving ½ cup of batter remaining, smooth the top.
- Beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg and lemon zest and beat until combined.
- Dollop spoonfuls of cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter.
- Dollop the remaining batter, then using a knife or skewer, gently swirl the two batters together to get a marble effect.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheesecake filling is set.
- Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool completely. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm to cut.
