Love Bites Picnic

Impress your loved one with this delicious picnic and remember to end it off with Clover Bliss Double Cream Custard!

  • 12 – 16 Salami slices
  • 150g Droewors sticks
  • 200g Clover Tussers cheese
  • 70g Olives
  • Handful fresh strawberries
  • Handful raspberries
  • Punnet grapes
  • Clover Bliss Double Cream Bliss Custard
  • 1/3 Cup Berry compote
  • 1/3 Cup Crushed coconut biscuits
  • 2-4 meringues, to serve
  • 500ml Clover Krush orange flavour
  • Bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine

How To Make Love Bites Picnic

1. Cut a large heart shape out of baking paper and place onto a wooden serving board.
2. To prepare the salami roses, fold the salami halfway over the shot glass. Overlap the slices over each other and repeat until a beautiful rose has been formed.
3. Prepare heart cheeses by cutting about 0.5cm thick slices of the cheese, then using a heart shape cookie cutter, cut individual hearts.
4. To prepare the bliss cups, add a layer of crushed biscuits into two sealable small jars, then add a layer of the berry compote and then top with the Bliss Double Cream Custard. Before serving the dessert pots top with crushed meringue.
5. Assemble all the platter ingredients onto the heart shape paper.
6. Prepare the virgin mimosas to your liking and serve the dessert pots at the end of your picnic.
