Christmas Pancake Pops

Welcome in the festive spirit into your kitchen with these cute pancake pops!

  • For the pancakes:
  • 250g Golden Cloud Flapjack/ Pancake Mix
  • 25g cocoa powder
  • 1 large eggs
  • 15ml cooking oil
  • 500ml milk
  • Oil for frying
  • 80g Beacon Heavenly Milk Chocolate
  • 80g Beacon Heavenly Midnight Velvet
  • 80g Beacon Heavenly Ivory Cream
  • 200g Giant pretzels knots
  • 75g Beacon Original Mini Liquorice
  • Allsorts
  • Assorted edible Christmas decorations
  • 12 Popsicle sticks

How To Make 

  1. Place the Golden Cloud flapjack/ pancake mix in a mixing bowl and add the cocoa powder.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the egg, oil and milk.
  3. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and whisk until the batter is smooth.
  4. Lightly grease the frying pan. Pour 2-3 tablespoons of batter into the pan to make small pancakes.
  5. Place a popsicle stick on the batter, to create the pancake lollipop, then top with another 2-3 tablespoons of batter.
  6. Cook until the edges start to turn golden brown and the surface of the pancake starts to bubble.
  7. Turn the pancake over and cook the other side. Set the pancakes pops aside.
    Repeat until the batter is finished.
  8. To decorate; melt all the Beacon chocolate in separate bowls over a double boiler or in the microwave.
  9. Dip the pancake pops in your chocolate of choice and coat evenly.
  10. Decorate with any of your favourite edible Christmas decorations.
