Cinnamon Baked Apples with Fruits of the Forest

As the season changes, you may be seeking something warm to sweeten the cooler mornings that will brighten up your day.

Serves: 3-4
Time: 20-25 minutes

Ingredients:

4 stark apples, cored
1 cup oats
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup apple juice

Fruits of the Forest with cereal for serving

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180C
Combine the oats, butter, honey and ground cinnamon in a bowl. Scoop out the flesh from the apples, chop it up finely and combine it with the oat mixture.

Place the apples into a greased baking dish. Add the oat mixture into the apples and pour the apple juice along the sides of the apples

Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the oat mixture is golden. Serve with Fruits of the Forest
