Authentikos 5 Ingredient Bagel
Bagels and coffee are life but what happens when you have coffee but no bagel?
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:
1 cup flour + more for kneading
½ cup Authentikos yoghurt – plain flavour
Pinch of salt
1 ½ tsp baking powder
Egg wash for brushing
For Garnish
2 tbsp Mixed sesame seeds
For the toppings
1 cup cream cheese mixed with 1 tbsp dill, squeeze of fresh lemon, salt and pepper
Salmon/Trout strips
Pickled red onion
Sliced Avo
Capers
Fresh drill for topping
Method:
Add the flour, baking powder and salt to a mixing bowl. Stir in the yoghurt and mix. Sprinkle flour over a surface and place the dough on top.
Start kneading the dough, adding more flour if its too sticky. Knead until a soft and smooth dough forms and no longer sticks to your hands.
Tear pieces of the dough. Roll each piece into a ball, flatten it and poke a hole in the middle to form a bagel.
Place the bagels onto a baking sheet and brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
Slice and serve with toppings as desired.
Chefs Tip:You can add as many of your favourite toppings to bagels – like bacon or guacamole
