Clover Classic Custard & Caramilk Tarts

One of the most classic desserts that will never go out of style is a custard tart. But did you know that you only need 5 ingredients to make the most delicious custard tartlets?

X1 pack chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
2 cups Clover Classic Custard
1 tbsp corn flour
100g caramilk chocolate, chopped
100g dark chocolate, melted


Press the crushed biscuits down into the greased base of as loose bottom tart tin (large or mini) until it comes slightly up against the walls of the tart tin.
Place into the fridge to set.
Pour the Classic Custard into a saucepan and place onto a gentle heat. Make a slurry using some of the custard with the corn flour and whisk into the custard. Keep stirring until it starts to slightly thicken, then remove from heat. Stir in the chopped caramilk chocolate.

Spoon the custard mixture into the tart bases and drizzle with the melted chocolate. Allow to stand for a few minutes then serve.

Chefs Tip:

Instead of making little tartlets, you can make one big one and slice up when serving

Use any of your favourite chocolate for the custard filling
