What’s great about them is that you can take all those left over nuts, seeds, cereal and oats you have and transform into these delicious heart shaped morsels.

Ingredients:
• 2 ½ cups oats • 1 cup mixed nuts, chopped • 1 cup corn flakes • 4 dates, pitted add chopped • ½ cup coconut flakes • ½ cup mixed seeds • 2 bananas, mashed • ½ cup nut butter of choice • 1 tsp vanilla essence • Clover Authentikos, any flavour, for serving • Fresh fruit for garnish
How To Make Granola Hearts
1. Preheat the oven to 180C. 2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, corn flakes, coconut flakes and mixed seeds. 3. Make a well in the centre and add in the peanut butter, mashed banana, dates and vanilla essence. Mix until well combined and scoop the mixture into heart shaped mold or use a heart shaped cookie cutter to make the shape, ensuring they are 1-2cm thick. 4. Bake for 10-12 minutes and allow to cool. Serve in a bowl with Clover Authentikos and fruit.
Chefs Tip: Using natural sweeteners like honey and dates is a great way to cut out any added sugar.
