Clover Bliss Butter Chicken with Cheesy Naan

We have simplified it to be done all in one pan and if you are wondering what to do with those bits of cheese in your fridge, use it to make cheesy naan bread, the best accompaniment to this dish!

Ingredients:

For the chicken marinade
4 chicken breasts, cubed
2 tbsp butter chicken spice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
½ cup Bliss Double cream yoghurt, plain flavour

For the sauce
2-3 tbsp butter
1 onion, chopped
2 tsp garam masala
2 tsp roasted masala
2 tsp butter chicken spice
1 tbsp garlic and ginger paste
1 cup tomato puree
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup Bliss double cream yoghurt, plain flavour
Fresh coriander for serving

For the cheesy naan
300g ready made bread dough
1 cup grated cheese of choice

Method:

Place the ingredients for the chicken marinade into a bowl. Marinade for 20-30 minutes.

To make the curry sauce, melt butter in a large saucepan and sauté the onion. Stir in the garlic and ginger paste as well as the spices. Cook for a few minutes then stir in the marinated chicken. Allow to cook for a few minutes then stir in the tomato puree and a pinch of sugar to balance the acidity. Season with salt and pepper and allow to simmer. Once the chicken is cooked through, remove from heat and stir in the Bliss yoghurt.

Make the naan by breaking off pieces of the bread dough and knead in 2 tbsp of the grated cheese. Roll into shape and dry fry the naan until slightly browned on both sides. Serve with butter chicken, Bliss yoghurt and a garnish of fresh coriander
