Clover Bliss Yoghurt Broccoli Loaded Fries

Tiktok has brought some of the best recipe ideas we’ve seen doing the rounds on the socials. Some are pure genius and some may seem a little outrageous but we say, don’t knock it until you tried it – like Broccoli loaded fries – and if broccoli is not on your list of favourite foods, this recipe might just convert you.

Serves: 2-4

Ingredients:

500g broccoli stems
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chilli flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp corn flour
2 tsp panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp parmesan, grated

For the Bliss topping
1 cup Clover Bliss double cream yoghurt, plain
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
Squeeze of lemon


2 jalapenos, sliced
Crispy onion rings

Method:

Cut the broccoli into fries and transfer to a bowl. Drizzle over the olive oil and sprinkle over the garlic powder, chilli flakes, salt, pepper and corn flour and toss together. Add the panko and parmesan and toss again.

Cook in an airfryer at 200C for about 8 minutes, until crispy. You can also fry off the chopped broccoli tips and set them aside.
Mix together the ingredients for the Bliss topping. Arrange fries on a serving dish, pour over sauce and garnish with jalapenos, broccoli tops and crispy onions.

Chefs Tip: This recipe can be made vegetarian by substituting the chicken stock for vegetable stock, and the chicken for mushrooms or tofu.
