Clover Classic and Honey Apple Tarte Tatin
The simple classic desserts like Tart tatin will never go out of style and with oodles of crisp apples in season just waiting to be transformed, a Classic Honey Apple Tarte Tatin is in order and with a generous serving of Clover Classic Custard, you know its going to be a Timeless Taste!

6-8 Stark Apples
½ cup Sugar
2 tablespoon Honey
4 tablespoon Butter
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon Spice Mix ((cinnamon or pumpkin spice)
1 sheet of Puff pastry
Clover Classic Custard for serving
Preheat the oven 200°C /
Peel, core, and cut the apples into 8 slices. Then, add lemon juice to prevent them from oxidizing.
Spread the butter in the base of an oven safe skillet. Sprinkle the sugar, spice mix, and honey over the butter.
Place on medium heat until the butter is melted and the sugar is dissolved. Then, very carefully arrange the apple slices carefully over the syrup.
Carefully arrange the chilled puff pastry on the top of the apples tucking the sides in. Dock the puff pastry with a fork.
Pro tip – Docking the pastry means to make a few cuts on the pastry with a knife for steam to escape.
Place in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Then, reduce the heat for another 15 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden.
Flip the pastry when the tart is still warm but not bubbling hot and serve with a generous dollop of Clover Classic Custard
