Fruits of the Forest Honey Chamomile Cupcakes

When adding that dash of honey to that perfect cup of tea but you don’t have the treat to go with it – our Fruits of the Forest Honey Chamolmile Cupcakes come to your rescue.

For the Chamomile Infused Milk
125 ml Milk ½ Cup
1 Chamomile teabag

Chamomile Cupcakes
115g Butter
100g brown sugar
2 large Egg
120 g Flour
1½ tsp Baking Powder
50 ml Chamomile infused milk ½ Cup
100ml Fruits of the Forest, Mixed Berry flavor

Honey Buttercream Frosting
150 g Butter
200g Icing Sugar
2½ tbsp Honey
Chamomile Infused Milk


In a small pan, add the milk and chamomile tea bag. Allow to steep, take it off the heat and let it come to room temperature.

Preheat the oven to 180° C. Line the cupcake liners in a cupcake/ muffin tin.

In a bowl cream the butter and sugar until light, pale and fluffy.

Add and beat one egg at a time, stir in the Fruits of the Forest and chamomile milk. Sift the dry ingredients into the bowl.
Mix until well combined. Scoop the batter into the cupcake liners and bake for 18 minutes. Check to see with a skewer to see if completely baked or until it golden and spongy on top.

Remove from oven and let it cool on cooling rack.

Mix together the frosting ingredients and add a dash of chamomile milk to give a smooth consistnecy when beating together with a hand mixer. Ice the cupcakes once cooled and drizzle over more honey.
