Clover Elite Cheese Steak Sandwich

Cheese steak sandwich is easy and delicious to make with just a few simple ingredients and a big promise! this mouth watering sandwich will fill your tummy with love.

2 Ciabatta rolls or any bread of choice(toasted and sliced)
200g Ribeye steak

For the caramelised onions
2 onions sliced
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup Clover Elite Tussers cheese, grated

1/2 cup Mayo

For the slasa
1/2 pineapple finely chopped
Handful coriander chopped
1/2 small red onion finely chopped
1/8 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
Salt and pepper to taste


For the caramelized onions, in a medium pan add in the sliced onions and saut√© until caramelized. Add in the balsamic vinegar and season to taste. On a hot griddle pan season your steak and cook until your liking about 5 minutes per side for a good medium rare and allow the steak to rest before slicing. For the salsa, combine the ingredients in a bowl. To assemble add some mayo to both half’s of the toasted bread, top with the sliced streak and grated Clover Elite Tussers, allow the cheese to melt by either placing in the oven for a few minutes or by using a blow torch. Add the caramelized onion, salsa and enjoy.

Chefs Tip: You can add any other toppings to the sandwich, like sliced gherkins.
