Clover Elite Cheese Stuffed Pretzel Bites

With the winter season upon us, it calls for cozy clothing, blankets and best of all, comfort food. Our Clover Elite Cheese stuffed pretzels make for the most delicious snack, appetizer or better yet – served with your favourite tomato soup.

500g bread dough
100g Clover Cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
100g Clover Tussers Cheese, cut into cubes
½ cup chipotle/tomato sauce
1 egg
2 tbsp butter, melted
Handful chopped parsley
2/3 cup bicarb

Sauce of choice for serving


Roll out the bread dough and cut into small squares. Dollop the sauce in the middle of the square and top with a cube of cheese. Roll up into a ball.
Place the bicarb into a pot of boilng water and add in the cheese dough balls into the water. Allow to cook for a few minutes then remove from the water with a slotted spoon.

Combine the melted butter with the egg and parsley and brush over the cheese balls. Place into an airfryer, preheated at 180C and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until crispy. Serve with a sauce of your choice
