
Clover Elite Cheeseburger Pop Tarts
Something new, something delicious!

Ingredients:
500g beef mince
½ cup Clover Elite Tusser cheese, grated
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup pickled jalapeno’s, sliced
1/ cup Tomato sauce
3-4 streaky bacon
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
5-6 slices Clover Elite Cheddar cheese slices
Eggwash
2 tbsp sesame seeds
Sauce of choice for serving
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180C
Make the burger by combing the mince, Clover Elite Tussers cheese, garlic power , paprika and dried herbs in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and form into burger patties.
Cut the pastry into equal squares. Place a burger patty on the bottom of a pastry sheet, top with jalapeno slices, tomato sauce, Clover Elite Cheddar cheese slice and wrap with 1-2 streaky bacon. Cover with another pastry square and seal the edges. Brush eggwash and garnish with sesame seeds. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown in colour. Serve warm with sauce of choice.
Chefs Tip: You can use any of your favourite Clover Elite cheese flavours in this recipe.
