Clover Fruits of the Forest and French Toast bowls

Starting your morning off with a delicious bowl of French toast with some hint of fruit that will sweeten up your morning.

Serves: 1-2
Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

1 whole loaf bread, unsliced
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla essence
½ cup milk
2 knobs butter
½ cup cinnamon sugar

for the filling
1 cup whipped cream
1 cup Clover Fruits of the Forest with cereal, any flavour
Honey for drizzling
Fresh berries for garnish

Method:

Slice the loaf in half and slice off the edge of the half loaf to form a cube shape.
Cut a square shape out of the centre, and hollow out. In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, vanilla essence and milk. Dip the hollowed out bread into the egg mixture and soak for a few minutes. Heat the butter in a large saucepan and fry the French toast bowl until golden brown in colour on all sides. Dip in cinnamon sugar so that all sides are covered.

Make the Fruits of the forest filling by folding together the Fruits of the Forest with the whipped cream and sweeten with a dash of honey.

Spoon the filling into the French toast bowl and garnish with berries and honey.
