Clover Krush Mixed Berry Oat Crumble Bars
Eating a variety of foods may sometimes come as a challenge to many of us, especially when having to include fruit into you’re your diet. Ingredients:
For the filling
3 cups Frozen berries
1 cup Clover Krush, mixed berry flavor
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp corn flour
For the crumble
¾ cup brown sugar
1 cup oats
1 cup flour
½ tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla essemce
150g butter, melted
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180C
Place berries in a saucepot along with the Krush juice and brown sugar. Mix the corn flour with a dash of Krush juice and mix together , Pour the corn flour mixture into the berry mixture and cook for a few minutes and set aside when slightly thickened.
In a large bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add in the melted butter and vanilla essence and mix to combine. Reserve a ¾ cup of the mixture and press the rest into a greased baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, spread over the berry mixture and sprinkle over the rest of the oat and flour mixture, over the berry mixture.
Bake for another 15-20 minutes until the edges are golden brown in colour. Remove from the oven and allow to set before slicing and serving with a refreshing Krush juice.
