1 cup butter, at room temperature 1 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp vanilla essence 3 large eggs 2 ½ cups flour 1 tsp baking powder ¼ tsp bicarb pinch of salt 1 cup chocolate chips 1 cup Clover Sip Up, Choc Chip flavour
For the caramel swirl 1 tin caramel treat, softened

Method:
Preheat the oven to 180C. Line and grease and baking dish In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time until combined. Add in the flour, baking powder, bicarb, salt, choc chips and gradually add in the Sip Up, beating until just combined.
Pour the batter into the greased baking tin and use a knife to swirl in some of the caramel. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until just set.
Once cooled, spread over the rest of the caramel and garnish with chocolate shavings.
Chefs Tip: You can also swirl the caramel into the batter or turn the cake into cupcakes and add the caramel to a piping bag to pipe on top.
