Creamy Cheesy Garlic & Sweetcorn Baked Rolls

Got some day-old rolls lying around? Don’t toss them, turn them into a brand-new, crave-worthy dish!

Preparation time: 10 – 12 minutes
Cooking time: 20 – 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6–8-day-old dinner rolls or store-bought bread rolls
  • 3 Tbsp garlic butter, melted
  • ½ cup cream or full cream milk
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 1 cup sweetcorn
  • 1½ cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • Salt & pepper to taste

To serve:

  • Parsley or chives, chopped

How To Make Creamy Cheesy Garlic & Sweetcorn Baked Rolls

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. Grease a medium-sized baking dish.
  3. Arrange rolls in the baking dish, then brush the rolls with melted garlic butter.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sweet corn, half the grated cheese and cream.
  5. Season with salt & pepper.
  6. Pour the creamy corn mixture over the rolls.
  7. Sprinkle with more cheese, then place into the oven and bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley or chives, and serve warm.
