Budget Friendly Creamy Ramen

  • 2 cups Nolac full cream fresh milk
    1 or 2 packets ramen/ noodles
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 tbsp tomato paste
    1 clove garlic, grated
    1 tbsp grated ginger
    1 tbsp low sodium/light soy sauce
    1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
    ½ cup vegan/non dairy parmesan
    2 spring onions, chopped
    soft boiled or fried egg
    salt and pepper to taste

How To Make Budget Friendly Creamy Ramen

  1. Heat the olive oil in a wide frying pan and add in the tomato paste, garlic and ginger.
  2. Cook for a few minutes then pour in the Nolac milk.
  3. Add in the noodles and soy sauce or use the flavouring form ramen noodle packet as well as the chilli flakes.
  4. Cook until the noodles are softened and taste for seasoning.
  5. Add in the lactose free cheese, spring onions and top with egg before serving.
  6. You can also drizzle over some chilli oil or chilli sauce.
