Five Roses Lemon and Ginger Ice Tea Granita

A refreshing and cool summer snack.

Serves: 2-4
Time: 10 minutes, 3 hours freezing time

1 cup brewed Five Roses tea
Zest of one lemon
Juice of ½ a lemon
2 tbsp honey
1 cup ginger beer drink


Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl or jug and pour into a metal baking tin. Freeze for 30 minutes, then use a fork stir the icy bits. Place back in the freezer and continue stirring every 30 minutes until the mixture is frozen but flaky. It should take about 2-3 hours altogether. 

Chefs Tip: You can use any choice of sweetener if desired, brown sugar, honey or golden syrup
