How To Make Glazed Chicken Wings
- Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with foil or baking paper.
- Place a wire rack on top of the tray (this helps with even crisping).
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with Cajun spice, onion powder, garlic powder, baking powder, and a generous squeeze of lemon juice.
- Toss until all the wings are evenly coated.
- Arrange them in a single layer on the rack and bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through, until the skin is golden and crispy.
- While the wings are baking, prepare your glaze by combining Mrs. Balls Original Chutney, Sweet Chilli Sauce, soy sauce, honey, crushed garlic, grated ginger, and cooking oil in a saucepan.
- Simmer over low heat for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and brush generously with the glaze.
- Return them to the oven for another 5–7 minutes to caramelize.
- To finish, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped red chillies.
- Serve immediately while sticky, hot, and full of South African flavour.
