BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders
Tender slow-cooked pork, tangy BBQ sauce, and soft buns come together for a meal that feels like the weekend came early!
Ingredients:
- 1.5kg pork shoulder bone in or boneless
- 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 cup BBQ sauce , plus extra for serving
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup beef stock
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
To serve:
- 8 – 12 Sliders or mini brioche buns
- 250g coleslaw
- Gherkins
How To Make BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders
- In a small bowl, mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
- Rub the spice mix all over the pork shoulder.
- Place pork in a large Dutch oven or roasting pan.
- Add vinegar, stock, Worcestershire, and BBQ sauce.
- Cover tightly with a lid or foil and roast for 3–4 hours, or until fork-tender.
- Remove the pork from the pot and shred using two forks, discarding any excess fat or bones.
- Return the shredded pork to the juices in the pot and mix well.
- Add more BBQ sauce if desired.
- Toast the buns with a little butter in a skillet, then add a generous amount of pulled pork to the base of the bun, top coleslaw and Gherkins.
