Cloud pancakes are delightfully fluffy Japanese pancakes that you will want to enjoy every morning for breakfast. Just as a cloud, they’re light as air and with the goodness of Good Hope Soy milk, these melt-in-your mouth pancakes are SOY good.
2 eggs 3 tbsp flour 2 tbsp Good Hope Soy milk ¼ tsp baking powder 1 tsp castor sugar pinch cream of tartar Maple syrup for serving
Method:
Separate the egg yolks and egg whites. In a large bowl, add the cream of tartar to the egg whites and whisk, using a beater until stiff peaks form In a separate bowl combine the flour, milk, baking powder and sugar and mix until smooth. Gradually fold the egg whites into the flour mixture.
Heat a pan over medium heat and ladle out pancakes with the batter. Cook for 405 minutes and carefully flip to cook a few more minutes. Serve with maple syrup
