Granola Florentines

Combining the goodness of Kellogg’s granola with the irresistible charm of Florentines!

Serves: 10 cookies

  • ¾ cup flaked almonds
  • ¾ cup Kellogg’s Granola (of your choice)
  • ¼ cup glace cherries, chopped
  • 3 tbsp raisins
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 80g dark chocolate, melted

How To Make Granola Florentines

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C and line baking tray with parchment
  2. Place the almonds, granola, cherries and raisins in a large bowl and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, mix together the butter, sugar, honey and flour in a saucepan over low heat until sugar has dissolved.
  4. Add the vanilla essence and stir.
  5. Pour the sugar syrup over the over the granola mixture until everything is coated
  6. Dollop large spoonsful of the mixture into the pan without pressing down.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden in colour
  8. Allow them to cool completely and reshaping if needed.
  9. Once cooled, dip the cookies in the chocolate halfway.
  10. Allow to set
