Lactose-Free Hashbrown Waffles

Spice up your breakfast routine with these lactose-free hashbrown waffles thanks to Clover Nolac!

  • Nolac Lactose free plain dairy snack
  • 2 Potato, grated
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp Flour
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • Pinch of onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • To serve:
  • Fried eggs
  • Cooked bacon rashes
  • Baked beans
  • Handful chopped chives

How To Make Hashbrown Waffles

  1. Preheat and grease the waffle iron.
  2. Add the grated potato, egg, plain yoghurt, flour, garlic powder, onion powder and salt to a mixing bowl and mix until combined.
  3. Allow to stand for 2-3 minutes, then using your hands, squeeze out any excess liquid from the potatoes and place some filling, depending on the waffle iron, in the center.
  4. Allow the hashbrowns to cook until golden in colour.
  5. Repeat the process until all the batter has been used.
  6. Serve the hashbrowns topped with a fried egg, bacon, beans and chopped chives.
