
Rib Eye Steak with Crushed Potatoes & Berry Pan Jus

Preparation time: 10 – 15 minutes
Cooking time: 15 – 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 rib eye steaks
- olive oil
- salt & pepper
- 50g black berries
- 50g raspberries
- 60ml red wine
- 10ml balsamic vinegar
- 300g baby potatoes, cooked
- 125g tenderstem Broccoli
- 10ml paprika
To serve:
Micro greens to garnish
How To Make Pan-Fried Rib Eye Steak with Crushed Potatoes & Berry Pan Jus
- Heat your skillet till smoking. Season steak with salt and pepper.
- Add oil to your skillet and fry your steaks for 8 minutes on each side and set aside to rest. In the same pan, deglaze with non-alcoholic red wine & add balsamic vinegar.
- Add berries and let it reduce. Add honey for a sweeter sauce (optional).
- Season to taste with salt & pepper. Crush your cooked baby potatoes with the back of a spoon.
- In a hot pan add oil, add potatoes and broccoli season with salt, pepper and paprika and cook until crispy and golden
- Garnish with micro greens
