Sweet and Spicy Steak Pasta
Where sweet meets heat, and steak seals the deal.

Ingredients:
- 250g Sirloin steak
- 250g fettuccine
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 4 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Siracha
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Cornstarch optional
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Butter
- ¼ cup water
- Salt and black pepper
- Garnish
- Fresh Basil
How To Make Sweet and Spicy Steak Pasta
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to packaging instructions. Reserve 1-2 cups pasta water,
- drain the excess water. Place the pasta in a bowl, toss with butter and set aside.
- In a different bowl, cubed the steak and season with salt, pepper, soy sauce, and cornstarch and allow to marinate for 10-15 minutes. To a hot skillet, add the olive oil and sear the steak cubes until browned and cooked to your preference. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, siracha, rice vinegar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and water.
- Simmer until slightly thickened. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well to coat. Use reserved pasta water to thin out the sauce if needed and add the cooked steak. Stir until well mixed, garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
