Steak Caesar Sandwich
A Steak Caesar Sandwich takes everything you love about a classic Caesar salad and transforms it into a hearty handheld meal.

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Salt and pepper
- 300g Sirloin steak
- 2 rolls, sliced and toasted
- 1 head cos or romaine lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Dressing
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Parmesan, grated
- 2-3 Tbsp lemon juice
- Zest of one lemon
- 1 Tablespoon mustard
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 anchovy fillet(finely minced)
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
How To Make Steak Caesar Sandwich
- Season your steak with salt and pepper. Add 2 tbsp of oil to a hot pan and fry the steak according to your preference. Allow the steak rest before slicing. Cut and lightly toast your rolls in the same pan.
- For the Caesar dressing, add the mayonnaise, parmesan, lemon juice, lemon zest, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and pepper to a bowl. Mix well.
- Spread a layer of the Caesar dressing on the bottom half of each roll, followed by sliced tomatoes. Add a layer of the sliced steak. Mix the chopped lettuce with the remaining Caesar dressing and top the steak generously with the dressed lettuce and serve.
