Traditonal Chicken Feet

Mixing tradition with flavour!

 

Ingredients:

  • Woolies Free Range Slow Cooked Chicken Feet
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1–2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp curry powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1–2 tomatoes, grated or finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup chicken stock or water
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley or coriander for garnish

How To Make Traditional Chicken Feet

  1. Heat oil in a medium heat pot.
  2. Add onions and cook until soft.
  3. Stir in garlic, paprika, curry powder, and black pepper.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and tomato paste.
  5. ⁠Cook for 3 – 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  6. ⁠Add the chicken feet and stir to coat in the sauce.
  7. ⁠Pour in the stock or water.
  8. ⁠Cover and simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and glossy.
  9. Season & Serve with Pap
  10. Garnish with parsley or coriander.

    Definitely will try this can’t wait…. Traditional chicken feet is one of my favorite yummy bring a lot of memories.
