Indulge in easy elegance with these Vanilla Custard Tartlets—a creamy, vibrant dessert perfect for any gathering!
Ingredients:
- 1 package fillo pastry sheets, thawed
- 4 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1½ cups Clover Vanilla Custard
- Fresh berries (such as blueberries, raspberries, or sliced strawberries) for garnish
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
How To Make Tartlets
- Prepare the Fillo Cups
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Cut fillo sheets into squares (about 10cm x 10cm). Use 3-4 squares for each tartlet cup, layering them by brushing each layer with melted butter and a light dusting of cinnamon.
Press the layered squares into a mini muffin tin, gently forming them into cups. Repeat for all tartlets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crisp. Remove from the oven and let them cool completely in the pan. - Assemble the Tartlets
Once fillo cups have cooled, spoon a generous amount of Clover Vanilla Custard into each cup, filling almost to the top. - Garnish and Serve
Top each tartlet with fresh berries and a light dusting of powdered sugar for added elegance.
Serve immediately for the best texture, or refrigerate if preparing in advance.
