WOOLWORTHS Ultimate Veggie Burger
Show your vegetarian and vegan friends and fam some love with this plant-based braai banger!

For the purple mayo: makes 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
Woolies whole baby beetroot, 3 baby beets
1 cup Woolies tangy vegan mayonnaise
2t hot English mustard, or hot English mustard powder
1 clove garlic grated
Salt and lots of freshly ground black pepper
Woolies plant powered burger patty
Woolies smokey BBQ marinade
1 slice Woolies plant powered dairy free cheese
1 Woolies gluten free bun, toasted in olive oil
Petit asian leaf salad to garnish the burger
2T chopped jalapeno cones in brine
100g Woolies frozen battered onion rings
In a food processor combine the baby beets, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic, salt and freshly ground black pepper before blending to form a smooth purple mayonnaise.
Prepare your plant powered patty as instructed while preparing the onion rings in the oven or in the air fryer. Just before your burger patty is done cooking glaze it with smokey BBQ sauce and add a slice of cheese to slowly melt.
To assemble your burger add some of the purple mayo to the base of your toasted bun before adding some baby leaves, the chopped jalapeños and then your patty. Add your onion rings followed by another drizzling of purple mayonnaise before topping with the bun and serving.
