Yoghurt Toast

We love to inspire and plug you with all sorts of trends you need to try and if you haven’t seen the Yoghurt toast trend, where have you been? It’s the new way to have breakfast in a jiffy and it comes together with just a few ingredients

Serves: 2
Time: 4-5 minutes

Ingredients:

2-3 slices soft white bread/ciabatta,
1 egg
¼ cup Authentikos greek yoghurt
2 tsp maple suryp or honey
Topping
1 cup fresh raspberries
Handful dark chocolate chips

Method:

Preheat the airfryer or oven to 180C
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, yoghurt and maple syrup or honey.
Use the back of a spoon to make an indent in the centre of the bread to create a well, without cutting through it.

Spoon the yoghurt mixture into the indented well and add the toppings. Bake for 4-5 minutes. Serve with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup

Chefs Tip:

You can use any fruits or berries for the topping, you could also do a mix of berries and chocolate

If you want an crunchy texture, add chopped pecans or walnuts to the topping
