- 300g milk Chocolate, chopped
- 300g white marshmallows
- 2 ½ cups fresh cream
To serve:
- Chocolate shavings
- Fresh berries
- Mint sprigs
How To Make Chocolate Marshmallow Mousse
- In a heatproof bowl, combine the chopped milk chocolate and marshmallows.
- Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method).
- Stir occasionally until both the chocolate and marshmallows are completely melted and smooth.
- Remove the bowl from the heat and let it cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whip the fresh cream until soft peaks form.
- Be careful not to over whip.
- Gently fold the melted chocolate and marshmallow mixture into the whipped cream.
- Stir until well combined, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream.
- Spoon the mousse mixture into serving glasses or bowls.
