Crispy French Toast

Golden, crispy, and packed with crunch, this isn’t your average French toast!

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Bokomo Corn Flakes, crushed
  • 4 slices of thick-cut bread (brioche or challah works best)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Butter or oil for frying
  • Maple syrup, honey, or fresh fruit for serving

How To Make Crispy French Toast

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  2. Place the crushed Bokomo Corn Flakes in another bowl.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated.
  4. Press the coated bread into the crushed corn flakes, making sure the flakes stick evenly.
  5. Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat and cook each slice for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve warm with syrup, honey, or fresh fruit.
  7. Enjoy the crunch!
