Clover Bliss Cheats Dhal Curry

Feeling for a scrumptious, yet flavourful curry without the fuss.

Serves: 6-8
Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

1 large onion chopped
2cups red lentils
3tbsp garlic and ginger paste
4- 5 tbsp of your favourite masala / curry powder
1/2 cup Clover Bliss plain double cream yoghurt

Salt and pepper to taste
Yellow rice for serving
Fresh coriander for garnishing

Method:

Rinse the lentils and allow to soak for 30 minutes
In a large pot and I’m oil, onion and fry until golden, add in the ginger garlic paste and curry powder and allow the spice to slightly toast in the onion mixture. Follow with the drained lentils and enough water to cover, cook for about 20-30 minutes until the lentils are soft/ half mushy. Fold in the bliss plain double cream yoghurt and season with salt and pepper. Serve with warm yellow rice and garnish with fresh coriander.

Chefs Tip: For a more filling dish add in roasted cauliflower florets and zucchini rounds.
