Clover Classic Malva Donuts

One of the most classic desserts that will never go out of style is a malva pudding. When you transform them into handheld form of donuts, they are even better

4 tbsp butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp apricot jam
½ cup milk
1 tsp bicarb
1 tsp vinegar
1 cup flour
pinch of salt

Clover Classic custard for serving


Preheat the oven to 180C
Beat together the butter and sugar until smooth and pale. Add eggs one a time until combined, then whisk in the jam. Mix the milk, bicarb and vinegar together, then stir into the egg mixture, alternating with flour, until a smooth batter is formed.
Grease a donut tray and scoop in the mixture. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with Clover Classic Custard.
