Clover Classic Orange Croissant Bake

This Croissant bake is a take on a decadent bread pudding with a orange twist.

4 croissants, rough chopped
½ cup orange marmalade
250g cream cheese, room temp
½ cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
Zest from one orange
1 tsp vanilla essence
Clover Classic Custard


Preheat the oven to 180C and prepare a baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and fluffy. Add the sugar and beat to combine. add the eggs, milk, orange zest, and vanilla essence and mix to combine
Place the croissants in a prepared baking dish and place dollops of marmalade scatter over the croissants. Pour the cream cheese mixture over croissants, then cover dish tightly with foil.
Bake 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for further 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the toothpick inserted in the centre.
Allow to cool slightly before serving. Dust with icing sugar and top Clover Classic Custard.

Chefs Tip: If you don’t have orange marmalade, you could also use apricot jam instead – to pair well with the orange flavour.
